05 Oct Is your MAC ready for upgrading to Mac OS X Yosemite
Version, Memory, and Space Requirements
OS X Version – 10.6.7 or higher
1. Click the apple icon at the top left of your screen.
2. Select “About This Mac”
The number underneath “OS X” is your version number.
If you’re running a version of OS X older than 10.6.7, look into upgrading your OS X.
Memory – 2GB or more
3. Below version number, you’ll find “Memory”
If you have less than 2 GB RAM, you’ll have to look into upgrading your RAM
Space – 8GB or more
4. Underneath”Memory”, click on “More info…”
5. In the new window, select “Storage” located at the top-left.
Above the multi-colored bar, you will see the phrase, “X.XX GB free out of XX.XX GB”
